Provides direct clinical services to the Brigade of Midshipmen (4500 students). Includes routine and acute evaluations, comprehensive assessments, and ongoing developmental and psychological counseling.Provides formal and informal consultation to the Commandant's staff and faculty on the psychological functioning of individual Midshipmen.Conducts training, psychological education seminars, and prevention workshops for Midshipmen and appropriate Naval Academy staff and faculty.Facilitates Support Group for Survivors of Sexual Trauma throughout the academic year.

• Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy for adult military members utilizing various evidence based treatment modalities, including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and follow up sessions to establish and maintain an effective therapeutic relationship, determine a diagnosis, and to create appropriate treatment interventions.• Developed group manuals for the newly implemented targeted care program; ensured 100% of patients were able to obtain treatment in the clinic despite significant manning deficiency.• Worked closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team members, including the substance abuse treatment program and family advocacy to provide all necessary services for patients. • Effective verbal and written communication for purpose of case notes, referrals, Medical Evaluation Boards, Administrative Separation recommendations, High Interest patient requirements, and Central Registry Board meetings.• Provides on call emergency services for patients experiencing acute psychological crisis.• Provides consultation and education to leadership and the base population regarding mental health resources, community resources, and specialty programs available.

• Directed mental health clinic operations for 30K beneficiaries, and certified mission capabilities and readiness for 5.1K Airmen. • Lead largest clinical element team of 11 Active Duty and 3 Civilian providers and advised senior leadership on complex mental health cases and managed 24/7 crisis consultation program.• Conducted mental health assessments, follow up psychotherapy interventions, and treatment plans for adult individual, families, and couples.• Conducted treatment team meetings with the interdisciplinary treatment team members, including psychiatry, substance abuse treatment, and family advocacy, to ensure the clients received wrap-around services to assist with all mental health concerns. • Served as the Behavioral Health Consultant to educate and assist leadership with clients who illustrated behavioral health concerns in the workplace.• Provided emergency and crisis intervention services to outpatients experiencing acute psychological crises as a walk-in provider.
