In my role as a Principal Social Development Officer at the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities in Abuja, Nigeria, I led the design and implementation of programs focused on disability inclusion. I worked on monitoring and evaluating these programs, ensuring their effectiveness and impact. Additionally, I mentored new startups among persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within these communities.

In my role as Secretary at the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters, I am responsible for managing and coordinating all secretariate activities. I documented correspondences, reported board activities, and contributed to global decision-making processes. Additionally, I conveyed meetings of the Board, Regional Representatives, and National Members, promoting virtual engagement quarterly.

• Spearheaded the establishment of Sign Language Interpreting across 37 state chapters in Nigeria.• Developed and implemented a certification program through curriculum development for interpreters.• Provided capacity building opportunities for interpreters to enhance their skills and professionalism.
