• Managed a total annual spend of $60M for shocks, ECU, and wheel accelerometers.• Developed supplier RFQ packages, solicit quotes, coordinated technical reviews with engineering, and analyze supplier quotes to understand cost drivers and total landed cost.• Effectively sourced and managed over 11 suppliers, working with 8 engineers, and 4 assembly plants.• Exceeded annual metric requirements while managing more than 11 commodities such as Chassis Top mounts, Shocks, Jounce Bumpers, Fuel Tanks, fuel pumps, canisters, springs, control arms, and Battery cables, Wire harnesses, and BECs.• Conducted a BOM review with other fuel tank buyers, tool purchase order audit and container studies which was a $2.00 savings per part vehicle with annual volume of $45,000 yielding $90,000 program savings and LOP $720,000.• Led cross functional VA/VE meetings with key stakeholders to define cost savings ideas Commercial and Technical to meet GM target goals. Out of 9 supplier VA/VE meetings conducted at the supplier plants there was a $2 million savings across 8 commodities.
