Currently leading the technical design and execution of all new software solutions in the Innovation department. I’m responsible for setting the technical direction of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software, and mentoring team members to help them grow as data scientists and developers. In addition to overseeing technical development, I play a key role in pre-sales, working directly with clients to demonstrate our capabilities and secure new projects. My focus is on delivering innovative solutions while maintaining the highest standards of software quality.

Transitioned into the Innovation department, where I took on a variety of Data Science projects, ranging from pure ML modelling to full-stack application development. Started collaborating directly with clients, managing the end-to-end execution of our tech solutions in sectors such as telecom, retail, banking, and biotech.

Joined AIA as the Python Specialist in the IT Center of Competence, providing technical support to Data Science teams by resolving software-related issues, with a focus on (of course) Python. The role also involved managing and maintaining internal IT infrastructure, including on-premise computing servers, cloud services, code repositories, VPN, and more. Played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT and Data Science in a time when Python expertise was rare among Data Scientists.

Development of business management software (ERP, CRM, SRM) for medium to large companies, focusing on process optimization. Mainly worked on web applications using Django, with PostgreSQL databases and Bootstrap + jQuery for the frontend. Occasionally worked on COBOL programs over Unix or IBM Mainframe environments, handling both batch and online processing, job design with shell scripts or JCL, and data migrations across indexed files and relational databases.
