For nearly two decades, I have worked extensively on all aspects of the design profession; from trends research to concept and product development, both as an employed and an independent designer. From this experience, I have gained great insight, knowledge and expertise on design, brand development, communication and business. Occasionally I give lectures in sustainable fashion and teach on design process, from idea development to production and finally presentation.In 2018 I established the high quality fashion brand AÉRÉ. AÉRÉ is a game-changing brand with the mission to redefine the fashion industry. Different to the conventional perspective on sustainable brands, AÉRÉ can be defined by the term “aesthetic sustainability” that views sustainable fashion as high quality and well-designed products that are long lasting and prompt consumers to buy less. At AÉRÉ we have one collection, to which more styles are added periodically. Time, effort and hard work are invested into the vision of creating pieces that follow no trends and can be combined or worn individually, in order to fight the need to purchase new clothes every season. We create detailed designs for the conscious woman who wants a strong but effortless-looking design expression, with a long life-time and fashion sharpness across different seasons and the rapid changes of fashion.
