Key responsibilities • Leading and performing internal and third party auditing and assurance engagements.• Monitoring and following up on the resolution of agreed audit issues, ensuring that sufficient compliance and closure evidence have been provided by the business.• Performing risk, compliance and business improvement consulting services including risk assessment, process evaluation, compliance reviews and operation improvement reviews. • Assisting Manager Audit in developing the internal audit plan and team improvement programme.• A member of Claim Process Review panel advising on claim management development and quality assurance process.Experience• Internal assurance engagements including accounts payable, human resources and learning & development, assets management, claim management, health and safety, accounting information systems, compliance with the act, sensitive expenditure, financial management, quality assurance process, risk management and governance. • Third party assurance reviews including OAG follow up review on the Fletcher Earthquake Repair (EQR) programme, Fletcher EQR billing process, health and safety in EQR and Tonkin and Taylor, MBIE follow up quality of repair assurance review.
