Profile bio

About Jens Tingleff

I combine a track record of working as Technical Lead and as highest level analogue system and cell designer with experience of collaborating with other groups. I have accumulated extensive experience in ASIC development which enables me to contribute to starting a project with the right specifications and to meet milestones while achieving quality results. My aim is to bring the scope of my previous experiences to play in defining innovative Radio Frequency (RF) circuits and Wireless communications systems in collaboration with stakeholders from other disciplines. I have had direct involvement with phases through the entire product lifecycle, from standardisation, definition, prototyping, specification, design, validation to production test support. I add important quality and performance input to the design processes, considering design reviews as a value added activity.I excel at going away and analysing a problem on my own and also in communicating my results with others both in written and oral presentations and in collaborative meetings. My family background in teaching enables me to help others to solve problems on their own and to mentor junior colleagues.Competences:▪ Designing Analogue Systems. Making chip specs from customer requirementsand standards, producing system level simulations and block levelspecifications▪ Working in regulatory and standardisation committees, elaborating PHY layer standardsand approvals testing specifications▪ Analogue cell design and full custom layout▪ Analogue CMOS designs at base-band frequencies, 0.18um, 0.13um,90nm, 65nm and 40nm bulk process. Continuous-time filters, linearregulators, variable-gain amplifiers, DACs. Analogue full customlayout▪ Cadence and Mentor design flows. System simulation in Matlab. Somesimulation for co-design in C, Verilog AMS and Ptolemy (Agilent ADS)▪ Specifying and performing lab verification of overall radio and detail cell performance

Listed skills include Digital Signal Processors, Soc, Uwb, Bicmos, and 29 others.
