• Research, report, write, and publish articles on tight deadlines with a focus on highlighting underrepresented athletic organizations and programs on campus• Track Middlebury sporting events and trends in the NESCAC and NCAA • Conduct interviews with sources to gather information and quotes for articles

• Represent US Figure Skating as a spokesperson for collegiate programs, driving awareness and participation• Contribute to content such as a featured column in SKATING magazine, blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts• Champion the growth of collegiate skating through targeted high school outreach and community engagement initiatives

The Athletes Advisory Committee is comprised of 50 members, 10 each representing men’s singles, women’s singles, pairs, ice dance and synchronized skating. Members of the AAC provide the voice of athletes throughout the organization in a variety of initiatives and issues. As an athlete representative, I serve on the following committees: ethics and professional standards, sports medicine and science, and tests.

• Based out of the National Press Club in DC• Research, write, and edit co-bylined op-eds on diverse and targeted issues for national and international newspapers• Analyze news, politics, and policy to pitch article ideas in daily strategy meetings with the team• Draft and publish press releases; compile local media lists for events
