About Ting Waymouth

I'm someone who thrives on getting things done, especially when those efforts contribute to the betterment of both people and the planet. With over 10 years of experience working for mission-driven companies, I'm driven by a profound passion for just and sustainable climate solutions. My journey has been anything but conventional, as I've transitioned from my academic roots in English literature, to a Master's degree in speech-language pathology, and eventually diving into the world of coding while simultaneously growing more active as a climate activist and community organizer. Most recently, I accepted a new job as Program Manager for a local environmental nonprofit. My prior career as a speech-language pathologist was deeply rewarding, yet it also sparked a desire for a more operationally-focused role where I could make a broader impact. At the same time, my individual sustainability efforts evolved from home composting and cloth diapering to becoming an engaged climate activist, eventually leading to a leadership role within my local chapter of a climate organization. When I think of the climate crisis, I am determined to work towards solutions and to broaden my impact beyond my own individual actions. In my region, I'm actively involved in driving climate action. As a Climatebase Fellow selected from thousands of global candidates, I'm continually expanding my knowledge of climate-related solutions and challenges, aligning my professional path with my commitment to environmental sustainability. If you share a passion for making a meaningful impact, let's connect and explore opportunities to create a more just, sustainable world together!#Sustainability #Climate #ClimateAction #DataDrivenResults
