Carruth Center for Counseling and Psychological Services- Provide multicultural-sensitive brief counseling for individuals with diverse presenting concerns- Provide clinical services including, but not limited to treatment planning, short-term counseling, psychoeducational group therapy, crisis intervention services, and case management- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations, triage, and participate in CCPPS’s crisis intervention services including crisis clinic, and supervised after-hours crisis coverage- Administer and document supervised risk assessments and risk reduction interventions- Provide consultation and outreach to clients and their families, WVU faculty/ staff, and the university community- Complete required documentation in an electronic health record system and quality assurance activities including routine monitoring and management of student treatment compliance- Serve as a liaison to various campus stakeholders and ensure that students, faculty and staff are provided with timely information regarding CCCPS and student mental health concerns and resources

- Provide assessments and interventions for individuals and groups in communities in Vietnam- Organize and run mental health related workshops for clients in Vietnam

- Teach IELTS prep-courses (various skills and levels)- Teach English communication courses for Vietnamese students (various skills and levels) at language centers, homeschool, and online platforms.

- Conduct individual and family counseling sessions with clients- Link clients with necessary resources and services within the community to address client needs- Participate in treatment plan meetings, staffing, and clinical meetings- Attend mandated trainings related to profession to enhances knowledge and/or skills- Front end administration in managing appointments, conduct new intakes, and prepare clients’ paperwork- Attend to client inquiries, calls, and requests for information- Onboard of new office staff

- Provide assessment and intervention at an individual, group, and organizational level- Facilitate the personal, emotional, social, and educational transition and adjustment of students- Provide psychological consultation and therapy for staff according to the Employee Assistance Program- Work with students’ families, academic advisors and staff to ensure early detection of psychological problems or learning disabilities- Work with the university’s medical service providers to provide health seminars- Provide secondary and tertiary consultation to RMIT staff in connection with students’ issues

- Assess client’s needs and develop objectives for treatment plan to address client’s goals. Participate in treatment plan meetings, staffing, and clinical meetings.- Conduct individual, couple, and group counseling sessions with clients having mental health and substance use issues. Evaluate clients’ progress and revise treatment plan(s). Provide crisis service and intervention for clients and link them with necessary resources/ services.- Complete and submit documentation as required by Valley, Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurances and any other licensing agencies.

- Conduct therapy sessions for clients in the community and students at West Virginia University having mental health and relationship issues (utilizing Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy as the main models).- Conduct group sessions and assist the Mindfulness Mood Balance program for homeless people and drug users at the Friendship House (Health Right Milan Puskar clinic in Morgantown, WV).- Implement community outreach to introduce the programs at the Quin Curtis Center to social services in Morgantown and surrounding areas

- Teach academic learning skills for first-year students- Mentor students in First Year Pathway and Academic Probation/Reinstatement programs- Present about effective learning techniques at academic seminars- Assist first-year students with orientations and course registration

- Coordinate volunteers and duties in different programs at the agency- Process requests from clients in the community (emergency food orders and financial assistance)- Assist the Jobs for Life program helping clients re-gain motivation to search for jobs- Assist community events (Fundraising, Prom Chic)

- Teaching English for international students of the Intensive English Program (various skills and levels)- Proctoring and grading the TOEFL itp exam- Organizing and monitoring extra curricular activities for students

- Coordinate and schedule English classes and teachers. - Teach English for non-English-majored students (various skills and levels). Teach Vietnamese language for foreign instructors. Organize institutional English learning workshops/conferences.- Prepare tests and coordinate the national English certification exams (various levels)
