I have nearly 35 years experience in the STEM and health/wellness fields. I currently teach chemistry and Advanced Placement (AP) science courses in an Early College program full-time while providing contract medical editing services part-time. I am also the science department chair on my campus and a lead AP science teacher within my school district. Subjects I've taught include AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, and non-AP science courses. Since 1998, I have worked either full or part-time as a technical writer/instructional designer. I am very interested in helping others to understand and embrace science and technology, whether from the medical standpoint or in the classroom and lab. One special achievement over the past 15 years is I have written training courses and edited regulatory and sales content for a medical supplier and an acupuncture online training provider resulting in regulatory compliance and increased revenue for those two businesses.
