I serve as a founding member on a council made of AYA (adolescent young adult) cancer survivors to implement programing that improves quality of care for this patient population. My team and I developed the peer-to-peer patient program that fosters relationships between current patients and survivors. As a survivor myself, I serve as a mentor within this.
