- Survey 100+ female-identifying individuals for electoral engagement by designing and distributing surveys to collect key insights and compiling results to improve future programming- Organize voter registration and pre-registration drives at local community events (eg. Berkeley Farmers market, local high schools) through partnerships and providing direct support to individuals- Help plan speaker panel event featuring distinguished experts to discuss California state propositions, enhancing voter transparency by providing clear, accessible information on key ballot measures

The SAC Connect is a non-profit organization that serves to increase access to mental health opportunities, programs, and education in the Black community. As a Peer mentor,- I planned and co-facilitate weekly Youth Connect groups for students across 3 middle & high schools in order to promote self-care and academic support through a culturally responsive lens (60+ students)- Helped organize wellness events to create better mental health resources and opportunities to the Black community in the greater Sacramento area- Worked on media creation to promote mental health resources and education to our followers and other viewers across various platforms

Black Student of California United (BSCU) is a statewide organization focused on developing African American Students to be inspired, educated, organized, and active in local and structural changes to improve the quality of all Black lives.- Spoke at the CA Assembly meetings and the State Capitol regarding AB 2774, a bill that addressed disparities in educational funding for Black students- Planned & led annual conferences for 2 years for BSU students and advisors across California (500+ participants) w/ self care and mental health workshops and panels w/ speakers such as Angela Davis- Led statewide webinars on Black youth engagement in promoting structural changes & awareness of health disparities in the Black community (60+ attendees)

GenerationUp is a student-led organization that works to advocate for educational equity and policy reform at the local level.- Led the campaign & petition drive (600+ signatures) for the establishment of the Student Board Member position & participated in the drafting of its bylaws- Collaborated w/ the EGUSD Equity department in the drafting of the first ever Student Bill of Rights board resolution- Organized a media protest for the reversal of lack of funding for AP exams for high school students that resulted in the reversal of their decline in paying for all of student's exams

TUGI is a non-profit organization that seeks to inspire youth to achieve urban sustainability in communities. Through engaging curriculums such as garden-based programs, students learn about environmental education.As Associate Director of Community Service, I worked with current and new volunteers to ensure active engagement through the creation of community events, management of community service hours, and coordination of volunteer activities.

TurnUp Activism is the crowd-sourced social network for activists which allows every organization and individual to communicate and collaborate together. By bringing together protests, events, and campaigns all to just one app, more people are able to seek opportunities where they can advocate.As an Intern, I collaborate on a variety of tasks and work towards influencing the direction of the voter turnout, activism projects, and app marketing. Through this role, I also advocate for issues important to young people and fighting voter suppression.
