The Site Manager is the primary contact point between Janssen and the investigational site for the conduct of clinical studies. The Site Manager ensures inspection readiness through verifying compliance with ICH-GCP, the clinical research protocol, Standard Operating Procedures and applicable regulations from start-up through data-base lock. Responsibilities include (pre-trial) site assessments, site selection, site initiation, subject recruitment and retention, monitoring and close-out. The Senior Site Manager also performs Local Trial Manager tasks and has a mentoring role towards other Site Managers.
