Rebecca Roman is an independent game developer with startup, coaching, and multidisciplinary game development experience. She is the founder of Tiny Boat Games LLC., an independent game company startup where she is responsible for the project management, design, and art direction/creation of an open world fishing game. Rebecca is the Creative Director of NE1:Plays Inc., an educational game startup focused on college and career readiness games. She is responsible for the art direction and creation of multiple games related to college and career readiness in high school students. Additionally, she assists with fundraising and research studies for the company.Rebecca believes in the power of small teams and big ideas. As a testament to that principle, she has worked in almost all game development disciplines including sound design, systems programming, level design, technical animation, visual effects, 3D environment, and more. Her focus is on all things game art related, but she believes that passionate people wearing multiple hats are who get the job done.Rebecca studied Game Development at Michigan State University and minored in Computer Science.
