Anlung Pring is a local tourism village for crane viewing in winter. My project was to diversify income during off-seasons through plants and flowers. My role was to be the communication point between the local villagers and WWT to see what is the best interest of both parties.

Served tastings to customers who come to the wine shop while maintaining a high quality of customer service. Leading one-hour tours explaining estate history, viticulture, and wine-making processes.I learned a lot about wine tasting as well as food pairing. Additionally, I learned to perform high quality customer service with a big team of sales associates.

Towhee is a camp for children and youth with learning and emotional disabilities. I have learned a lot about diversity and how to interact with people, and being more understanding and respectful through working at Towhee.

The aboriginal centre at UBC Okanagan is a place for aboriginal students to feel at home as well as celebrate and introduce aboriginal culture to international and other domestic students. We had weekly luncheons and events. My role was to greet and interact with students, direct them to resources they need, help with the luncheons setups and help out during events, and maintain the space to be comfortable for everyone. Through this job, I have learned a lot about aboriginal culture and Canadian history, and become more compassionate about issues around cultural injustice.

I was the teaching assistant for the Geography course: 'Earth Systems: Weather, Climate, and Life' at UBC Okanagan campus in my second year. My role includes marking labs and tending to exams.

Jump start is UBC's week-long orientation program for international students to help them familiarize themselves with the campus and the city, as well as Canadian culture, and feel welcomed as they start their university adventures. It was a fun and empowering experience to help all these kids from all over the world to start their exciting university journey and continue to be their support throughout the rest of the year.
