Health Safety Environment Officer
Current➡️Job Responsibilities:✔️Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.✔️Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace, including working at height, use of heavy machinery, electrical safety, and hazardous substances, and implementing measures to mitigate these risks.✔️Maintaining accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training activities, and preparing reports for management, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.✔️Liaising with regulatory authorities, emergency services, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.✔️Leading emergency response and crisis management planning and coordinating emergency drills, including first aid and fire safety.✔️Establishing a rigorous health surveillance framework, monitoring the impact of noise, vibrations, and hazardous substance exposure on workers, and implementing measures to mitigate these risks.✔️Preparing reports outlining achievement of Health, Safety, and Environmental KPIs and presenting these to management and other stakeholders.✔️Managing Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance for various construction projects, including reviewing risk assessments, providing guidance to site teams, and conducting audits.✔️Collaborating with other departments and teams, such as project managers, engineers, and contractors, to identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks associated with construction projects and initiatives.✔️Keeping up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and industry best practices and incorporating these into the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
