Worked on the proprietary Dagor Engine as a graphics engineer on the Enlisted and WarThunder titles. Hired by winning university competition in graphics team as a first member after a lead.With a team of professionals, I worked on GPU-related game features, and implemented: blood effects, screen rain droplets, player vegetation interactions, a burning system, bullet holes, face details, severed limbs, and others…Additionally, I enhanced performance and tools, including:- Optimized spotlight rendering, achieving a 20% improvement- Integrated microprofiler for performance profiling on various platforms and drivers- Completed collision system in the editor, streamlining development workflows- Advanced various in-house tool improvements to boost overall productivityWith the initiative, I fully implemented a system for automatic regression testing (graphics bugs and performance regressions).I fixed more than 50 bugs around the entire app and different platforms (tools, shaders, shader compiler, drivers, Xbox, PlayStation, Nvidia/Radeon GPU) using tools like RenderDoc, PIX, GDB, and others.I was proactive in communication, new team member onboarding, and code review.
