The transformation program represented the largest of its type ever attempted in the U.K. life and pensions space.Role: Program Manager (IT Delivery - BaNCS) (team strength 300+ associates)Responsibilities• Drive and lead the consolidation of policy books across the disparate line of business systems to a single platform - TCS BaNCS. • Manage the TCS BaNCS product enhancements and delivery within the budget and agreed timelines• Scheduling and managing people resources for successful project completionAchievements• Successfully transformed the business migrating in excess of 6 million inforce policies from 17 lines of business systems and 1000+ ancillary systems on to TCS BaNCS. • Completed the entire migration in October 2011 – just five years and seven months after the commencement of the program (2006) with all policies now part of the TCS BaNCS ecosystem within the planned budget and timelines.• Managed the implementation of the BaNCS platform so as to enable the Group to achieve lower cost of ownership, simplified IT architecture, and improved and standardized uniform business processes. • Led the enhancements to the BaNCS platform providing the Group with greater transparency by allowing a single view of the customers, workflows, multi-channels, strategic print solutions, and effective KPI reporting. -
