• Responsible for ensuring a welcoming community for floor of 40+ residents through planning weekly events, resolving interpersonal conflicts, and serving as a reliable, trained resource for residents at all times• Primary point of contact for dorm emergencies including mental/physical health crises, facilities issues, and policy violations

• Modeled and linearized state space dynamics of a thrust vector controlled rocket in both Matlab/Simulink and Python• Designed LQR error-state controller to track trajectory defined by 12 dimensional state vector and 4 dimensional input vector • Handled current draw data collection and emergency shutoff switch operation during 40 V electric ducted fan thrust testing• Worked in team to design flight software architecture based on memory constraints, computational power, and C++ libraries

• Utilized proprietary Boeing software-in-the-loop parallel simulation framework in Unix to write test scripts in C++ for playback of flight test pilot input data to validate simulation model against actual aircraft response during test flight• Flew on 777x test flight to monitor control law stability margins and aircraft response to artificial disturbances in real time as well as write lab log with analysis of data collected during test sweeps• Altered gain scheduling table values in Landing Attitude Modifier control law, performed necessary targeted testing, and created documentation with Git version control to gain approval for inclusion of change in next 777x software release

• Performed quick, reliable statistical data analysis to resolve product quality issues on variable geometry turbochargers and prepared slide packs to visually communicate the results as efficiently as possible to supervisors• Proposed design change for location of gear alignment marks to improve maintenance capabilities and coordinated with cross-functional teams to create design review package, acquire necessary approvals, and update Windchill PLM software• Conducted a feasibility study using PTC Creo and Dimensional Variation Analysis to determine if new oil sealing system can be integrated with existing platform of turbochargers and minimum change to manufacturing process• Tested and debugged a MATLAB high cycle fatigue data analysis tool and provided code revision to improve the user interface and make human input faster and more reliable• Communicated with diverse group of coworkers in-person and globally throughout internship to handle progress on multiple projects in addition to ensuring seamless transition of the projects at the end of my tenure
