I am a passionate Machine Learning Engineer with over 3 and a half years of experience in the industry and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. I have a solid foundation in signal processing and machine learning, with six published research papers, including a journal paper, that have made significant contributions to the industry.Throughout my career, I have developed and integrated innovative systems such as a voice banking system through telephone calls using a RASA ChatBot, which allows users to inquire about their banking transactions and record and report dues in their preferred language via voice commands. This system has contributed to a remarkable enhancement in the speed and efficiency of the process, and users can now perform these tasks seamlessly and conveniently with a simple phone call. I have also implemented a sub-word-based technique to handle Bengali proper nouns in an OOV robust ASR system, evaluating the performance of CTC and Transducer-based ASR models using NVIDIA/NeMo repository.I have extensive experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and clean code. I have also worked with NLP tools such as wav2vec2, kenlm, fastTxt, spaCy, flairNLP, and speech-data-explorer, and utilized Git, DVC, AWS or GCP, and Docker for version control system development. I have worked with GCP spot instances to improve their economics and resumability and used AWS's parameter store service for storing and retrieving environmental parameters. I have also used protobuf for using external services like Kafka, Confluent-kafka, and schema registry.In recognition of my expertise, I was awarded the Best Performer of July 2021 and January 2022 at Hishab Ltd. I was also part of the BUET ENDGAME team that secured 4th place at IEEE Signal Processing Cup ICASSP 2020 in Barcelona, and the Ravenclaw team that secured 2nd place at IEEE Video and Image Processing Cup ICIP 2019 in Taiwan.I am a society member of IEEE SPS BUET Student Branch Chapter and served as its Secretary from July 2019 to March 2021. With the help of other societies of IEEE Bangladesh, we organized the first-ever IEEE SPS Winter School 2019 in Bangladesh.I constantly seek opportunities to drive innovation and make a valuable impact in machine learning.
