As General Manager my prime responsibility is maintaining oversight of all business activity to ensure the smooth running of the company. I work closely with the channel manager to provide training for our resellers – both new and existing – as Accredo evolves. Another of my key roles is program manager – managing software development, from collecting requirements and feedback through design, development, testing and deployment. My expertise is on the user experience and feedback end – I’m a seasoned professional when it comes to using our software with 22 years’ experience. I pull rabbits out of hats for our resellers and users because of my knowledge of the inner workings of Accredo. The most recent example was for a client in Invercargill; server failed and data corrupted as a result, the most recent backup they could recover was a month old. I patched the good bits of the corrupted data and the backup together into a consistent dataset so only the invoices lost due to the corruption had to be rekeyed and I gave them a list of what was missing.As a longtime director of the company, I am extremely proud of the fact that we are a New Zealand owned and operated company that has been providing a business management software for growing local businesses for over 30 years.
