• Educate patients in clinic setting concerning nutrition, diabetes, or other disease condition for improvement in health outcomes.• Work with pharmaceutical representatives to learn about new medications or devices that may benefit the patient.• Insulin pump management and training as needed for patients.• Train medical students and interns regarding all aspects of diabetes care.• Give patients and providers the tools and support they need to be successful.• Design and implement a free monthly class for ongoing disease education.
