I have worked as a technician for the following departments: Forestry, Range, ESR, and Minerals and Reclamation. Some of the detailed aspects of my work with the BLM include, spending 10 hours outside and spending 10 hours at a computer any given day, hiking rough terrain, GPS Experience, plant ID, data management, and the use of various computer programs like Access and ArcMap. In addition, I volunteered for the 2015 National Public Lands Day.

Gibson Jack Watershed

Performs certain lab analyses such as POC and DOC.Performed installation, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of sensing, recording, and communications equipment and instrumentation. Plotted discharge measurements and estimates short periods of missing records. Assembled, evaluated, and prepared field and laboratory data for tabulation analysis.Collected samples from soil pits and processed for percent organic matter content.Performed field sample data collection of soil temperature and water content in soils.
