Pilot project on Research and Design of Liability Incident Database(LID) as emerging risk in the insurance market segment. Developed a plan for exponential growth of LID by capturing liability incidents, lawsuits and litigations from different legal portals and sites using web-scrapping and text mining techniques.Application of NLP techniques in legal textual documents and data to extract critical information pertinent in understanding causation/triggers of liability events/lawsuits.Designed a web-based dashboard in R shiny for interactive statistics, mapping and progress update.Collaborating with Center for Risk Studies, Cambridge University as part of Joint Research Program on Global Exposure Accumulation Management by scenario building for perils like Earthquake, hurricane etc. Development of port level standard spatial resolution Marine Industry Exposure Data Model for top 100 sea ports by projecting and estimating sea trade values from country to port level.

Development of lat/long level high resolution Marine Industry Exposure Data Model} for top 50 sea ports by projecting,down-scaling sea trade estimates and temporal analysis of satellite imagery. Performed automation of the down-scaling process in R which reduced time from a week to 1 day along with designing a QA plan for the high resolution down-scaled exposure data.

Developed an array of geo-spatial algorithms integrating compartmentalised demographic, socio-economic and retail data in a single platform to realise their collective potential and provide business insights. Managed and grew client relationships by recommending best practices and solutions in GIS, Remote Sensing and Analytics.

Lead the GIS team on the ‘Grid’ project. Grid equips users with locational intelligence at 1sq. km and follows a top to bottom approach of disaggregating socio-economic estimates (demographic profile, income distribution) using highly granular information like building densities, nightlight radiance, type of road network, point of interest, rental information etc.Implemented the Hub \& Spoke Model in developing a solution to tap potential of the rural markets in India. Geo-spatial clustering based on accessibility and catchment of the high potential villages was performed along with identification of the nearest towns or villages which could service as hubs for optimization of retail distribution. Facilitated gap analysis between current and predicted distribution network along with optimal route planning to cater to all the villages in a cluster in the most effective manner.Developed the framework and supervised project on estimation of urban population growth by using census data and time series of satellite imagery. Integrated results with ward level population forecasts to enhance legacy product NSL (Neighbourhood Skyline) for 57 major cities.

Summer Project- Utilisation of Cartosat-1 DEM for determination of Geological stages and soil Proneness using Hypsometric Analysis. Understanding photogrammetric concepts in extraction of DEM of Damanganga Basin (Maharashtra) from Cartosat-1 stereo-pairs and then using the DEM generated in determination of geological stages of development and soil erosion status of the basin.
