Responsible and accountable for the overall operational management and delivery of events including ‘live’ community-based face to face events – international conferences, localised roundtable discussions, collaborative partnership events, and showcases for evolving cyber, risk, resilience, and governance landscapes. Responsible for reviewing suppliers, processes, and procedures; putting processes in place to create a robust framework to deliver a world-class customer experience pre, during and post event, whilst creating memorable and enjoyable experiences. Ensuring standards are kept exceptionally high across all areas of delivery with rigour and excellence, whilst maintaining efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Established, produced and successfully led the overall events programme for EMEA. Responsible for strategy, KPI’s and budget. This included the project management of the inaugural (ISC)2 Security Congress EMEA which grew year upon year. Also, led the roll-out of the hugely successful new events programme for EMEA in 2017 known as the ‘Secure Summits.’ Led the collaboration process with the selected event management company for the flagship EMEA Summit 2019.Effectively implemented multi-channel strategic partnerships and content campaigns for innovative ideas, brand building, lead generation, product launches and promotions to drive attendance and revenue.Led strategic partnerships with leading tradeshows to position the organisation as a key contact and industry leader, including the negotiation of all major contracts, accounts and co-marketing agreements of tradeshow organisers in the EMEA region. Successfully steered cross-functional collaborations across the regions to develop and accomplish key partnerships with speakers and luminaries, academia, training providers and corporates to bring the very best of what’s on offer to the events scene. Liaised with relevant departmental teams to publicise and promote the events programme; worked closely with HQ to ensure all event messaging, branding and materials were alignedProduced and managed detailed proposals for all event related areas including, but not limited to, timelines, venues, delegates, speakers, sponsors, press, media partners, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets.Established effective KPI’s to monitor and manage all event related activity from forecasts and track performance to event evaluations and financial budgets. Oversaw the negotiation and coordination of all budgets and logistics. Led the management of insurance, legal, health and safety related matters at all events.Oversaw the growth of Chapters within the region and provided high-level event support.
