CurrentAnsaldo Nucleare, within the AMW Consortium (Ansaldo Nucleare - Mangiarotti - Walter Tosto), has been contracted for the supply of the European Sectors of ITER Vacuum Vessel.https://www.iter.org/proj/inafewlinesMy main tasks and responsibilities: - Technical coordination of AMW Consortium partners and subcontractors for qualification and production aspects of Welding and NDT for ITER Vacuum Vessel;- Provide technical expertise on Welding and NDT, lead technical discussion and decisions, contribute to the resolution of technical problems;- Point of contact towards Client for Welding and NDT, ensuring a unique position of AMW Consortium on Welding and NDT topics, by coordinating the relevant departments of Consortium's members;- Support the project control for schedule management on Welding and NDT;- Review Welding and NDT documents to guarantee technical consistency and a homogeneous structure between Consortium’s partners and subcontractors;- Lead UT procedures qualifications (Phased Array on austenitic stainless steel welds);- Contribute to the technical risks analysis on Welding and NDT;- Coordinate and contribute to welding improvement programs;- Contribute in the preparation of Technical Specifications for specific Contracts, and in follow-up Contracts implementation of subcontractors of AMW Consortium;- Follow-up production to be in compliance with QA/QC requirements;- Provide technical support for closure of non-compliances in welding.
