When I was 12, I built my first website—a project that sparked my passion for technology’s potential to connect. As a fourth-generation Nevadan, I grew up visiting mainframe rooms filled with massive computers that spanned entire floors, only to see them gradually replaced by single, powerful machines. This childhood exposure to the legacy and future of technology ignited my intellectual curiosity. My career took a different path as I answered the call to serve in Special Operations and intelligence, spending over a decade on the frontlines. Across 11 deployments with the Ranger Regiment, UK Special Forces, and other elite units, I developed a strategic mindset and a knack for solving complex problems under pressure. Even as my focus shifted from technology, I seized every opportunity to integrate tech-driven solutions that could enhance mission success.Graduate school—and witnessing a close colleague’s journey into tech leadership—rekindled my initial passion, proving it was never too late to reconnect with my tech roots. I committed to expanding my expertise in emerging technologies, combining my experience in high-stakes strategy, diplomacy, and problem-solving to become a catalyst at the forefront of technology and policy.Reconnecting with my tech roots, I founded Arena Advantage Group to help businesses, governments, and nonprofits leverage technology and innovation ecosystems for real impact. At the same time, as a partner at SOF(t), I co-develop leadership and soft skills programs that cultivate the vital interpersonal and adaptive skills essential for success in today’s complex landscape. In July 2025, I’ll embark on a two-year global expedition spanning 25 countries, connecting with entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators to explore how emerging technologies are reshaping societies worldwide. This journey will be a powerful platform for learning and collaboration, enabling me to bring back insights that fuel partnerships, innovation, and policy development.I believe in the power of technology to create positive societal impact, guided by ethical frameworks that balance opportunity with responsibility. By prioritizing equitable access and responsible tech integration, we can advance progress while safeguarding against unintended consequences.I’m actively seeking partners and opportunities in global tech policy and diplomacy, with a focus on AI governance, digital trade, and fostering collaboration across sectors. Let’s connect and explore how we can drive meaningful impact together.
