• Work on business inputs/outputs in reference to Sales and Operations planning in the business of deliveries through various delivery segments.• Work on Delivery Partner experience, identify opportunities to grow in the challenges and resolve it for a seamless operation.• Influencing and collaborating with regional stakeholders and Finance team to support program enablement along with growth by immediate action as point of escalation of any queries and concerns.• Work on execution of enforcements and their threshold to provide high quality deliveries to our customer by measuring, promoting and rewarding the proper engagement.• Create plan of actions across multiple teams to mitigate risks and improve Delivery experience.• Build reports to quantify delivery experience and independently drive policy and process changes.

Manage team in fabrication and assembling of material handling equipment used for Steel plants.• Initiate procedure for approval on projects for steel plant. Responsible for evaluating Purchase Orders (POs), assessing the design and development of the product, and other requirements as per the specifications mentioned in the PO.• Initiate the projects by developing the concept layout of products to be manufactured in reference to PO along with approved QAP and thereby develop BOM in co-ordination with Design team.• Develop communication documents to convey key design aspects to clients as well as fabrication team. Also, prepare Material Requisitions (MR) for Quotations and thereby create Purchase Orders.• Initiating dimensional inspection of components machined at machining centers as per standards. Also, address any process or quality issues in real-time.• Examine and identify factors that could affect projects, delivery of products, or affect customer satisfaction by effectively identifying process gaps. • Conduct internal inspection and then initiate and coordinate with third-party inspection team for standardization and quality certification for developed projects.

• Fabrication and assembling of material handling machinery like EOT Cranes, Tundish, Tundish(Transfer) Cars, End Carriage and Trolley arrangements, Ladles and Bail arm arrangements.• Preparing and maintaining various project documents, drawings and document submissions for purchasing, fabrication, processing, operating, packing and unloading.• Assessing material requirements and coordinating with vendors for timely supply of required materials.• Coordinating with inter-related departments for distribution and engineering, to plan and execute production effectively and inspection activities for internal as well as external inspections.• Ensuring timely availability of manpower and equipment/materials for timely execution of the projects.

The internship mainly focused on various sections present in the Railway Locomotive and Coach maintenance workshop. Some of the important sections were Machining Section, Wheel section, Corrosion section, Welding shop, Air brake section, Axle section and preventive maintenance of coaches.
