Nichols Injury Law fights for regular people and families who have been seriously injured or killed by the negligence of others. We handle a wide variety of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, including unsafe premises, motorcycle wrecks, vehicle and truck crashes, and negligent security cases.

Responsible for educating future lawyers by teaching the following courses:- Trial Advocacy;- Plaintiff's Practice

* Primary legal advisor to Brigade and subordinate commanders of the 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. * Provided counsel to military commanders to ensure compliance with fiscal, ethical, and employment.regulations. * Counseled and advise senior commanders on a variety of complex and developing military-focused data privacy legal issues.* Proactively identified legal, regulatory, and reputational risks and developed comprehensive mitigation strategies.* Drafted new policies and agreements to be implemented by various units regarding data privacy issues. * Supervised and trained subordinate staff and lawyers to assist in meeting the necessary needs of various units. * Researched and tracked evolving data privacy and cybersecurity state and federal regulations.

* Responsible for defending over 11,000 Soldiers in the Georgia Army National Guard. *Advised and represented Soldiers facing charges at courts-martial, non-judicial punishment, administrative separation, AR 15-6 investigations and pretrial confinement.

Responsible for the prosecution of criminal and administrative actions of nearly 4,000 Soldiers within the Brigade. Advised commanders, unit leaders, and military investigators about all criminal and administrative matters.

Trial Counsel

Represented clients in injury matters including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and motor vehicle wrecks.Represented former NSA contractor, Reality Winner, on federal charges of leaking classified material.Advised and counseled county government employees on issues/concerns related to employment law.Successfully represented non-profit organization in litigation matter alleging conversion and breach of contract.

Appointed to serve as Special Assistant District Attorney for the murder prosecution and trial of State v. VICTOR BLOCKUM

Trial Advocacy and U.S. Courts

*Team lead trial attorney for Judge J. David Roper. Responsible for prosecuting serious, violent felonies, as well as supervising and mentoring the junior attorneys on the Roper Trial Team.* First-chaired numerous jury and non-jury felony trials within the Augusta Judicial Circuit (Burke, Columbia, and Richmond counties) including: Murder, Armed Robbery, and Sexual Assaults against women and children* Authored and submitted numerous appellate briefs to the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court.* Successfully argued and defended the State's conviction of a child molester before the Georgia Court of Appeals. (Goggins v. State, 2014 Ga. App. LEXIS 835)* Successfully argued and defended the State's murder conviction before the Georgia Supreme Court. (Daughtie v. State, 2015 Ga. LEXIS 365)

Managed and prosecuted hundreds of criminal offenses within Augusta-Richmond county including DUI's, domestic violence, and vehicular manslaughter. Worked with multiple law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Georgia to investigate, collect, and organize all discovery materials, including witness statements, police reports, search warrants associated with each case

Formulated competitive strategy and guided students in developing their advocacy skills. Instructed introductory courses to trial advocacy and criminal procedure.

Judicial Clerk

Under Georgia's Third-Year Practice Act, prosecuted felony and misdemeanor offenses within Athens-Clarke County. Served as lead counsel in numerous trials and hearings within juvenile court. In Superior court, I handled probation revocation hearings, and preliminary hearings. I drafted several appellate briefs before the Georgia Supreme Court.
