I led all aspects of the project including requirements, architecture, design, coding, QA, and the professional services implementation. This solution integrated employees, customers, projects, AR customer invoices, AP vendor invoices, employee expenses, cash receipts, and revenue recognition from 3 separate data sources over the web via XML. It also reduced the amount of time needed to balance and close financial books and synchronize millions of dollars between systems on a monthly basis for Portera‟s largest ServicePort customer. The project team spanned 4 companies, 7 geographic locations, and included the activities of 13 people.- Designed, managed, and released Portera‟s public XML API. Real-life uses of this API include financial systems integrations, reports, offline clients, data warehousing, and bulk import tools. Consulted on many integration efforts revolving around the internal and external usage of the XML APIs.- Initiated development process and procedures improving the release of a worldwide multi-currency project accounting system. Managed a team and all development deliverables for the product through this new process.- Managed the rewrite of the Time, Expense, and Approval system including requirements, design, schedule, QA, operational testing, and beta program. Delivered on time with minimal defects to over 10,000 active users.

This component was written in VB .NET and used SOAP/XML to communicate with ServicePort‟s java infrastructure.- Led the design, development, and delivery of a content delivery system conglomerating disparate content sources via XML to provide information rich web pages.
