- Responsible for managing and contributing to the software architecture, development, team, and delivery (and often hands on coding) of all UI products of the company as well as the application server serving those UI‟s and SOAP interfaces including: * MS Outlook plugin allowing contact and call control integration. * Administrative console used primarily by administrative assistants and receptionists to receive, hold and transfer calls. * Definition, creation, release, and documentation of public facing SOAP API and Flashed based UI. * Championed and managed creation of hundreds of automated regression tests that were run nightly. * Initiated performance effort for the application yielding a 10x increase in scalability. * Individually defined, coded, and managed the release of the product‟s integration with a third party voicemail system. The defined generic interface was applied to additional voicemail providers.

- Managed software development teams and the various projects they worked on.- Collaborated and set direction for developers residing in Russia and Eastern Europe.- Continued management and maintenance of deliverables worked on at Portera Systems.

- Delivered an integrated ServicePort/Oracle Financials solution cementing the reception of $1M/year in revenue from this customer. I led all aspects of the project including requirements, architecture, design, coding, QA, and the professional services implementation. This solution integrated employees, customers, projects, AR customer invoices, AP vendor invoices, employee expenses, cash receipts, and revenue recognition from 3 separate data sources over the web via XML. It also reduced the amount of time needed to balance and close financial books and synchronize millions of dollars between systems on a monthly basis for Portera‟s largest ServicePort customer. The project team spanned 4 companies, 7 geographic locations, and included the activities of 13 people.- Designed, managed, and released Portera‟s public XML API. Real-life uses of this API include financial systems integrations, reports, offline clients, data warehousing, and bulk import tools. Consulted on many integration efforts revolving around the internal and external usage of the XML APIs.- Initiated development process and procedures improving the release of a worldwide multi-currency project accounting system. Managed a team and all development deliverables for the product through this new process.- Managed the rewrite of the Time, Expense, and Approval system including requirements, design, schedule, QA, operational testing, and beta program. Delivered on time with minimal defects to over 10,000 active users.

- Led the design, development, and delivery of an integration platform used to loosely integrate various web services via XML. This platform was used to integrate a web-based issue tracking system with the core ServicePort application.- Delivered a MS .NET service allowing the formatting of ServicePort custom reports using client created Excel templates. Planned and implemented the architecture, design, coding, testing, integration, scalability/performance compliance, installation, and operational readiness for the delivery. This component was written in VB .NET and used SOAP/XML to communicate with ServicePort‟s java infrastructure.- Led the design, development, and delivery of a content delivery system conglomerating disparate content sources via XML to provide information rich web pages.

- Designed, developed, and delivered a media service server as part of a distributed system allowing virtual meetings over the internet. Built customer awareness of the product via release documentation and demos.- Led the development and delivery of a software interface for a third party Conference Bridge with an Israeli development team. I integrated this conference bridge to the virtual meeting product using this interface.- Led 3 other engineers in the development of the system management and configuration tool of the product.
