I’m a bit of an enthusiast considering my advantageous enjoyment in extensive learning, particularly in the digital world.I started my career as an intern at a small design and communications company, I found that design was my favorite thing to do. My curiosity started when I joined The Mail & Guardian newspaper as a Junior Graphic Designer for the sales and marketing department, I was surrounded by Senior professionals who pushed me to learn and apply myself in an immediate sense. This is when my passion for research and development began. I stayed for 2 years without dropping the ball and I was allowed to work for one of the biggest financial companies in the country. At Momentum, I learned the importance of working within a team that was focused on a singular objective, I had to adapt to the needs of the department I was a part of.Developing my creative abilities on passion projects led me to be selected by the Department of Arts & Culture to exhibit as an emerging creative. Visual language and my attention to detail made it possible for businesses to hire me on a personal level, I started growing as a designer and Ster-Kenikor approached me to work for them as a Senior Graphic Designer. With an influx of clients seeking my growing design aesthetics, I decided to start a design company called StudioThinkers. Here I get to explore many hats, from understanding the planning of a winning marketing plan to structuring projects to an effective standard. Design is still in my heart and with the experience I have, my goals are to consistently apply myself with integrity and values that enhance a growing career.
