Job Sector: Manufacturing/Assembly for the Jeep GladiatorResponsible for all quality attributes of the build including the dimensional specifications, welding, sealers, adhesives and torqued bolts, screws and nuts. I supervise a team of 20 Weld Inspectors and a Metrology Lab with 5 Coordinate Measuring Machine specialists on 1st shift. I also work with Mechanics and Electricians to make physical adjustments to our fixtures and to program Kuka robots. I collect and interpret dimensional data and use the results to guide adjustments to our tooling and robot paths. I am certified in and use lean six sigma for process control and to communicate results to Jeep/Stellantis. I coordinate with suppliers to ensure incoming parts are up to Stellantis standards and conduct root cause analysis for both internal and supplier issues. I am skilled and responsible for identifying defects with stamped metal and injection molded plastic parts. I supervise UAW Local 12 Union employees.
