Ensure on boarding of Contractors are seamless, ensure Contractors know and follow the EH&S Company standards. Audit said companies for compliance. Suggest improvements and re-audit for their success. Remove any roadblocks that may be present. Create and implement campaigns for Safety improvement.

Coordinate hazardous waste management activities associated with project work.Oversee the site controlled product approval process.Ensure the identification and availability of PPE requirements for all employees.Liaise with engineering on design issues regarding project environmental compliance.Clarify regulatory issues that may arise at the project work site.Ensure that all necessary federal, provincial / state, municipal and environmental approval, permits and licenses are in place.Maintain a general awareness of applicable legislation and promote awareness within the group via site training when regulatory bodies or authorities enact new legislation.Monitor developing legislation through regular visits to the corporate legal register and subscribe to or monitor other sources of information, if required.Monitor Effectiveness of training programs.Develop structured guidance on emergency response requirements for projects.Coordinate post-incident reviews.Establish First Aid Treatment Center and transportation requirements.Administer the workers' Compensation claims management system as required.Prepare periodic communications and educational subject mater for contractor work cycle crew EH&S meetings.Participate in the contractor work cycle meeting on a rotational basis with the construction coordinators.Participate in and serve as a resource for the monthly incident review meeting.Produce lessons learned from serious incidents.Audit contractor compliance to the training identified.Regular auditing of EH&S records to ensure compliance with established requirements.
