As a member of the company’s Facilities team, the Director of Field Operations for the Northern VA market is responsible for departmental and business leadership, specifically in the area of electrical, mechanical and base building systems. Data Center Facilities Manager for a cloud-services IaaS/PaaS provider with a world-wide organizational structure and customer base• Directly manage the daily operations and critical infrastructure systems of highly-sensitive data-center sites, including in-house and contracted engineering, trade and support staff• Direct oversight of operational and infrastructure components • Conduct statistical analysis of failures in utility and IT systems, determining root cause and corrective actions to prevent recurrence• Draft, edit, review and approve change-management utilizing ITIL best-practices and ITSM guidelines with potential global impact for both the company and the end-user
