As Chairperson, organising and running regular meetings is required. Constant updating with changes in pay,conditions and process of being an Newly Qualified Teacher are vital. Communication with District and Branch Officials in addition to INTO Head Officials is important to achieve goals and ensure continuity in so far as possible. Links with media are important, and the role of spokesperson on issues is a primary role as chairperson.

Currently campaign to represent the community in Blanchardstown, Castelknock, Carpenterstown and Blakestown area, as an INDEPENDENT Candidate for the Local Elections 2014.

As PRO my job was to be the link between strands of the club, and between the club and local area. It included providing links and liasing with club members and teams in order to forward all players and members. Links with local and national media was also of high importance in order to publicise the club for all to see. Local links with Schools and community groups allowed for the club to grow and continously move with society and members. Other skills required were negotiation, communication and communication management through a range of media.
