With the passion of customer service running through me I excelled as a front desk agent. I quickly took the lead mentoring new staff, organizing activities for arriving guests and handling daily guest service issues. Wanting to increase my knowledge of hotel operations I took over the role of Night Audit Manager. In this role I managed overnight hotel operations including overseeing in-room-dinning, valet services, janitorial services, on property security and end of day accounting. As the Night Audit Manager I discovered an issue with collecting on outstanding guest folios. To collect on these accounts I created and implemented procedures that drastically increased collection and revenue from the accounts.The next step in my upward mobility with the ART, was into the Accounting Manager role.
