A termed residency program in which I built and directed the Alpha Course, executed weekly admin and communication for aspects of Sunday worship, led aspects of liturgical worship, provided pastoral care by leading small groups and meeting with parishioners, created spaces for parishioners to learn how to biblically and theologically reflect upon hard questions aroused by our cultural moment, and reimagined Sunday morning hospitality for a church of 800+ by implementing new initiatives.

Worked with Dr. David Palmer to teach an online NT survey course. Throughout the course, I graded essays and assessments, provided critical feedback to students, and taught Zoom sessions pertaining to the meta-narrative of the NT and exploring the grammatical-historical exegetical method.

Organized communal life for Gray Dorm. This role required event planning, system building, vision casting, conflict management/resolution, and providing pastoral care for residence.

Worked with Dr. Edward Keazirian, Greek Professor & director of the Gordon-Conwell Greek program, to teach Basic Greek I & II. Throughout the course, we alternated between meeting in plenary and in sections. When we met in sections, I taught a class of 9-10 students.

Assessed, organized, and staffed Neighborhood Groups for the upcoming year. Preached some Sunday Mornings. And, assessed the Church’s outreach and city engagement endeavors, which led to forming new partnerships with para-church ministries.

Oversaw a large student ministry (200+ teenagers), staff, and volunteers. Crafted vision for the ministry and provided oversight for the ministry’s calendar, budget, and volunteer onboarding. Developed a Bible teaching team and served as the primary teacher. Provided pastoral care and counseling to teenagers and their parents.

Served as the executive assistant to the Cypress Campus Pastor. Partnered with all ministries on the Cypress Campus (i.e. Kids, Students, Outreach, Men’s, Women’s, Worship, Communications). Planned and produced worship services and special events with the Campus Lead Pastor. Helped organize the Campus’ response to Hurricane Harvey.

Oversaw the student ministry and volunteers at the Fry Road Campus. Collaborated with a Multi-site team to plan special events. Planned and executed weekly programming. Developed a Bible teaching team and served as the primary teacher. Provided pastoral care and counseling to teenagers and their parents.

Planned and executed worship services while working with Mark Swayze.

Planned and executed worship services for student and adult services and provided pastoral care.

Worked with Robbie Seay and the staff at Bayou City Fellowship to execute Sunday Morning Servies at the Cypress church plant.
