I decided to do a short term placement in Graphic Design with MDM publishing to experience the industry, with this placement I was able to increase my capabilities when it came to using different graphics programmes, and was able to design book covers, magazines and invitations. I also had to input a lot of data in terms of personal info for companies that wanted to have their companies adverts placed in the magazines. The experience gave me an insight into the working environment and working with all ages and various roles based in this field and allowed me to experience the working world. I enjoyed the experience and value the time that I spent at the placement.
