I was promoted the role as CTO at Dimension Data based on my success within the organisation leading many of our largest strategic wins over the past three years. My understanding of client business and strategic needs resulting in the delivery of highly successful outcomes was a key factor in my role.My role is to establish and communicate the wide ranging service and solution offerings that the organisation has to offer, develop the go to market and positioning of these services, and provide context of how to achieve the best outcomes to clients in leveraging them.As the CTO I have responsibilities across all areas of the business, from management to engineering working to deliver sustainable, profitable and effective client outcomes.Other areas of my role include elements of ownership and accountabilities of commercial service outcomes, maintaining technology currency and product management in our new "as a service" business.I also maintain a governance role across the many service lines, ensuring we are all leveraging and delivering a strategic service to clients. This draws on my skills across Enterprise Architecture, Product Management and Marketing together with commercial and legal representation of services internally.As the brand ambassador for Dimension Data New Zealand, I have promoted services both at conferences and through working with clients and internal sales teams for successful wins in many of our Telecommunications as a Service areas.

Overall lead Architect for complex ITO / Multisourcing deals at Dimension Data New Zealand.Lead Solution Architect or a number of large and complex IT Outsourcing deals including:- Network for Learning RFP bid- Assisted with the one.govt services campaign- All of Government Office Productivity Services for DIA- Fulton Hogan cloud services RFP- All of Government Desktop as a Service Bid (DaaS)- Shared Services Organisation - Wellington Regional Councils- Telecommunications as a Service lead architect, and solution owner (TaaS).I worked on the one.govt Voice Gateway platform as the lead architect, and together with my colleagues we received a Cisco Global Innovation Award for this service in 2011.I was awarded the regional (APAC) Dimension Data Technical Excellence Award in 2014 for my leadership and experience in creation of the 3D Workspace service response for Dimension Data New Zealand. The platform was recognised for another Cisco Global Innovation Award in 2014.

Responsible for technical design of new solutions. Governments and Enterprise customers.Worked with the team that established a new business unit for C&W called Internet Service Centres. This project meant creating a new Datacentre facility in Swindon, Wiltshire, including fit-out and initial commissioning of a large hosting service. My role was to assist the creation of the require infrastructure for management of new client networks and services. I was seconded to build a state of the art Citrix / Microsoft hosting service called A-Services which combined with Cisco Call Manager version 1 provided an office in a box for business and commerce clients.After this was completed, I worked on solutions for Marks and Spencer which included the relocation of the Baker Street office to the Swindon Datacentre. This included establishment of BCP for the organisation and ERP testing for their first online sales engine.I worked on secondment to Microsoft as part of the UK Government Gateway project, and later worked on the transition of operations for that service to C&W.

I stayed on for support and a network transition project.I was responsible for the development, management and operation of the platform which ran the entire UK claims business. I learnt and practiced Business Process Automation (BPA) techniques which combined business process and computerisation of processes for insurance claims services.
