Tom Comes has a passion for both the art and science of marketing. Tom understands the need to swiftly bring action to strategic marketing plans, stay on budget, and deliver return on marketing investment.Prior to starting C Marketing and consulting with Corrigan Consulting, Tom was Director of Marketing and Communications for Borgess Health, one of southwest Michigan’s largest healthcare providers. Prior to Borgess, Tom served as vice president/account director for several marketing communications agencies including Lawler Ballard/TraverRohrback (MI), Doe-Anderson (KY), Biggs Gilmore (MI) and Fahlgren (OH) where he worked on a variety of business to business, consumer, and healthcare accounts including Owens-Corning, Ames Lawn & Garden Tools, Edgetech, Monarch Hardware, Blue Care Network, John Muier Medical Center, Jewish Hospital, Atria, McDonald’s, Vobix and Brunswick Boat Group. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in marketing management from Miami University (OH). Tom has received numerous national, regional and local awards throughout his career. He has served as a board member for the Southwest Michigan chapter of the American Marketing Association and Hospital Hospitality House of Southwest Michigan and is a published author on fitness, branding and health care marketing communications. Tom is an avid baseball fan, accomplished photographer and runner, finishing 22 half marathons.
