As a strategic, creative executive, I work with an excellent team to provide strategy, leadership, and oversight of entrepreneurship and innovation at CNM Ingenuity. This work spans both program activities like Hyperspace Challenge, ActivateNM, and Ski Lift Pitch, as well as startup investment vehicles such as ABQid Fund and Ingenuity Venture Fund. I engage a variety of stakeholders to catalyze private sector development in New Mexico through entrepreneur-led economic development.Ultimately my goal is to attract the best startups in the state of New Mexico--as well as those interested in starting here--and help to make them extremely successful, so that the partners in our fund get the best returns on their investments while enjoying the social impact of their investment as well: a thriving Albuquerque and New Mexico that is becoming an awesome destination for entrepreneurs.

As a culture-first, people-first, product-focused CEO, I focused on getting the right people on our remote team and working within an empowered structure to produce the best work of our lives for our nonprofit and startup clients in education, international development, and social enterprise.As company leader I brought a passion for excellence that permeated content strategy, design, and development both for clients and internal initiatives, leading to #5 placement on Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work list, and national recognition across web and mobile projects.At the project level I served as strategist and workshop facilitator helping give life to the critical early phases of projects. Excellent staff retention and seeing each employee grow professionally and personally, is not easy to achieve in the digital agency space, and so our high retention rate is something I treasure.

Facilitate design thinking from inception to completion of project to answer the question, "How might we improve humanitarian response through better integration of the private sector?"Conduct research and interviews; facilitate on-site and on-line workshops to refine potential pilot projects; help source monetary and in-kind support for project initiatives during development and measurement phases.

1 Million Cups (1MC) is a simple way to engage entrepreneurs in communities around the world. Each week, the 1MC program offers two local entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their startups to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs. Presenters prepare a 6 minute educational presentation and engage in 20 minutes of feedback and questioning after they present. Entrepreneurs gain insight into possible ways they can improve their businesses, gather realtime feedback, connect with a community that truly cares about their progress, and walk away feeling like they have advanced their business. The audience also learns a great deal from the presentations. Whether this is through passively listening or deeply engaging with the entrepreneurs, there is much to learn every week from these dynamic and diverse communities.

At Del Norte High School I taught English as a Second Language levels 1 through 4, as well as English 9 and Comm Skills 9 in a high-intensity literacy block. This amazing experience built my skills in cultural sensitivity, facilitation, and project management as I effectively had five different preps.At Manzano High School I taught English 9, Honors English 9, and English 11. I was chosen as Freshmen Academy leader to better integrate student's experience across English, Math, and Science. Both years I also taught English 9 with a wonderful special education inclusion team teacher, which helped me scaffold learning for a broad range of styles and capacities. I was a leader in the use of technology in the classroom and provided training and assistance to fellow teachers.
