While at ETC, I Worked on the Eos line of lighting consoles. During this extended internship I redesigned a major UI component to greatly improve screen utilization as well as usability, and, independently prototyped future products and mobile applications using Qt 5.x and QML. Those projects were continued and released on Android and iOS as a new remote interface for Eos lighting consoles using Open Sound Control (OSC)Additionally, contributed to industry standards development (sACN) and developed a session on student outreach for an industry conference (USITT).

During this internship I worked on several smaller introductory projects and concluded my summer by designing and developing a test procedure for quality assurance of the ColorSource Par. This project required independent research and learning of several new technologies to me, including OpenCV for visually inspecting a fixture post assembly and using 3rd party libraries for machine vision cameras.

Developed embedded software for a new remote user interface to a satellite communications platform. Wrote code in C / C++ using Qt 5.x, and Precision32 IDE. Link Communications specializes in communication bridging products for public safety, military, industrial, and commercial entities.
