Sales And Marketing Specialist
CurrentI was recruited by family members to run GlenEden Labradoodles, a dog breeding business, and manage a 66-acre horse farm while caring for my 83-year-old mother-in-law, who was recovering from an equestrian accident. My priorities with the dog breeding operation were updating the website, establishing social accounts, improving SEO, creating an online puppy application, and setting up PayPal and Zelle accounts. Next was organizing the kennel, physically and operationally. This involved giving breeding dogs dedicated runs, installing shelving units, and migrating dog records from spiral-bound notebooks and binders to spreadsheets. I cut dog food expenditures in half and reduced payroll hours. I learned how to vaccinate and worm puppies, care for nursing dogs, and properly wean puppies from their mothers. Website traffic is up. Puppy puppy sales have been steady in a very crowded breeding market. We have a growing and engaged social media audience. In 2023 my puppy sales totaled $488,900.
