I’m an experienced entrepreneur and CEO with a track record of building and scaling successful companies. After the exit of a VC-backed company I founded, I took some time off to reflect before diving into the SMB acquisition space. I then completed a self-funded search, acquiring We Rent Copiers—a cash-flowing SMB—using an SBA 7(a) loan. I led the company as CEO, modernizing operations and building an outbound sales strategy to drive growth. Recently, I hired an operating CEO to continue scaling We Rent Copiers, allowing me to focus on building Shareholder Ventures.As Founder of Shareholder Ventures, I’m now building a holding company that acquires and invests in SMBs while supporting acquisition entrepreneurs (ETA) in finding, vetting, and funding their own acquisitions. My passion lies in supporting the SMB ecosystem and empowering the next generation of business owners to thrive.Previously, I was the Founder and CEO of Zagster, a pioneering micromobility company that grew into an eight-figure recurring revenue business over 13 years. We raised over $40M in venture capital and launched over 250 bike-sharing programs across 35 states. With an exceptional team of 350+ employees, we built a leading fleet management offering from $0 to a $10M+ annual run rate in just 12 months, leading to a successful exit. During my time at Zagster, we navigated significant market shifts and reinvented our business model to remain competitive, receiving recognition as one of Boston’s Best Places to Work and myself as one of Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.Today, I apply these experiences to drive long-term growth for the small business community, focusing on strategic acquisitions and fostering entrepreneurial success through Shareholder Ventures.
