I was ten years old when I played my very first game: The Legend of Zelda on NES. Since that day I've been 'hooked' on games! I've played countless games on just about any platform imaginable, I've written articles and reviews about games in printed magazines, I've translated game assets, tested game builds and even directed the Dutch voice dubbing of many different games.Amongst the games I've directed are (the Dutch versions of) Uncharted 1-3, Skylanders & Skylanders: Giants, God of War 3, Beyond: Two Souls, the Ratchet & Clank series, InFamous & InFamous: Second Son, MotorStorm: Apocalypse, Little Big Planet 1 & 2, Star Wars Kinect and many, many more.As a translator I’ve recently worked on various AAA titles (Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and some recent games that I cannot disclose yet) as well as countless mobile games and many digital media marketing campaigns.With nearly 20 years of work experience (and over 3 decades of play experience) in this industry, it’s safe to say I know my way around games and localisation.
