* Managed the QMS process, documentation, and testing workload of five manual testers for Healthy @ Work, a web-based app calculating how long a student or employee should stay home due to COVID-19 symptoms and exposure, and how at-risk the employee would be to others. * Supervised testers writing test cases against Product Requirements. Due to the screening tool being considered a medical device and subject to an FDA audit, drafted Test Protocols and Test Reports capturing what was to be tested and what was accomplished, overseeing both the Exploratory and Formal Verification cycle.* Created API tests verifying that the dashboard used by testers to emulate various states of the H@W application had expected output. Tests written in TypeScript + Mocha.

* Constructed a UI Automation framework using Capybara + Ruby + the BDD framework (Gauge.org) + Chrome, from proof-of-concept to finished product, training fellow automation developers to add to the framework testing Threat Stack's browser regression test suite. * Set up, configured and scheduled headless Chrome tests to be run in GitLab in a Docker container. Configured the Chrome, Chromedriver, and Gauge logs to be captured and stored as a downloadable GitLab-CI job artifact, along with screenshots of errors. Tests included validating user data shown on screen with calls to a MongoDB collection using a Mongo Ruby gem. Developed test suite of 100 tests w/ runtime of less than ten minutes. * Greatly expanded the Ruby-based API automation framework to cover all aspects of the Threat Stack API including: GET POST, PUT and DELETE commands, positive and negative tests on HTTP status codes and expected error messages, both required and optional fields, JSON Schema validation on HTTP responses. * Integrated our CI/CD pipeline with Slack, monitoring our test environments in a daily automated test run. Triaged errors by using jumphost to go to the test environment, sshing into the microservice, tailing the logs and seeing what is happening in real time as the test is rerun. Terminated and restarted microservice AWS EC2 instances if needed.

* Tested series of React Native Android and IOS apps for grocery store chains Stop & Shop, Martin’s, and Giant Foods.* Created and demoed proof of concept: a basic mobile automation solution with Appium + Java + Hamcrest + TestNG.* Added Cucumber tests to their Serenity BDD reporting framework for their web automation* Used SoapUI and Postman to examine content in their customer database, an MDM system. * Generated Signed APKs with Android Studio, deploying daily builds to HockeyApp.

• Automated tests for PersonalVu, a Vue JS app, using Nightwatch JS to test account creation, login, and reports review, using Node.js, JavaScript, and ECMAScript2016. • Demoed proof of concept how to use REST Assured library to test APIs first in Java + TestNG and then in Groovy + Spock Framework. • Gained product domain knowledge of GSG's ERP software used to track genetic testing for disorders. Studied how the software is manually tested in order to create tools to improve efficiency of manual testers and suites of automated regression tests. ERP is a Groovy on Grails product. • Leading testing effort for adding Salesforce integration into ERP, examining requirements, drafting testplans, and add automated testing. • Developed data-driven automated browser tests with Selenium WebDriver / Java 7 and TestRail for Fitbit’s eCommerce shopping cart and their Commerce Admin portal. Tests developed on MacBook using IntelliJ, TestNG. Source control: Git, using it through the command line. Recorded bugs in JIRA. • Wrote automated browser tests that verified Customer Service agents could: Create regular and warranty orders for the US & Canada and 10+ EU countries that contained both physical goods such as the Fitbit Surge and virtual goods such as FitStar subscriptions, capture charges on credit cards, and process both full and partial refunds. Test suite verified on screen that unit prices matched those listed for the country, that taxes were not charged in a non-tax state or country, that promos of applied affected the unit prices correctly on the review and summary pages, that shipping levels were correct for that country and for the total in the shopping cart, and that all calculations for pre-tax prices and on screen totals were correct. • Diagnosed failures of both the hourly regression test suite and release candidate regression test suite by reviewing Jenkins logs, screenshots, and Sauce Labs videos. • Participated in code reviews on teammate’s automated browser tests, adding comments in Stash, checking for readability, cleanness of code, learning from senior developers.• Performed initial diagnosis on the Jenkins Continuous Integration suite of Selenium WebDriver tests: Reviewing Jenkins logs and Saucelabs videos, examining configurations, then attempting to execute tests on local machine to diagnose errors. • Wrote documentation for the Fitbit Confluence Wiki on processes such as: Checking code into master branch using Git with the command line, Configuring database access with IntelliJ Ultimate Edition, manually testing the Fitbit API's order processing using Apigee's API Explorer, and Testing the Promo API.
