• Manage staff covering Public Sector accounts• Acting Director during times the Director is out of office• Participate in transaction prioritization meetings with upper management• Responsible for workload balancing, staff’s annual evaluations and staff’s overall contribution to the company• Point of contact for escalated issues needing resolution• Responsible for Public Sector Distributor Agreement negotiations for channel transactions• Draft non-standard business terms and conditions for contracts in support of CA software, SaaS, education and services proposals and transactions for Public Sector accounts• Confirm GSA transactions are in compliance with the terms of the company’s GSA Schedule• Advise sales teams on strategic issues such as risk mitigation, financial strategies and revenue recognition• Participate in deal negotiations with client's procurement and/or Legal staff• Participate in RFP responses to provide contractual terms and pricing input for both Product and Services offerings.• Review FAR clauses in solicitations with Legal department to be sure the company can comply if accepted• Provide creative solutions to address client needs and expectations during negotiation while protecting Company policy and compliance with pricing and revenue recognition procedures• Manage the review and approval process of products and services contracts• Conduct transaction risk assessment and transaction approval process on assigned proposals and transactions• Conduct financial analysis of transactions and develop recommendations to senior finance and/or sales management• Review final paperwork of transactional orders and customers’ Purchase Orders/Task Orders for accuracy, revenue recognition potential issues and completeness for submission to Sales Accounting for booking the transaction.

• Responsible for escalations related to Federal and State and Local contracts and transactions for PS Contracts Team• Responsible for assuring PS needs were voiced during implementation of new systems• Responsible for post-acquisition training and Sales assistance on new systems • Continued contract drafting and negotiation responsibilities of territory accounts • Responsible for software maintenance renewal transactions under $100k, including the upsell of fees and PO chasing to close the transactions.

• Negotiate and Draft non-standard master agreements, nondisclosure agreements, ordering documents, license assignments, and amendments for Public Sector accounts• Work with the legal department to draft highly complex contracts• Assist with RFP responses and review of contractual terms and conditions• Understand, apply and advise on company’s current business practices, licensing, pricing, and revenue recognition policies• Ensure contracts meet licensing and support policies under Oracle business practices and internal guidelines• Experience with FAR clauses and GSA Schedules• Audit order packages to ensure compliance with GSA and Oracle’s business practices• Interact with several branches of the company, such as the Sales, Tax, Credit, and Legal departments to resolve contractual, licensing, and pricing issues with customer orders and/or agreements
