Since 2015 I've been working in education, training military personnel in network defense and architecture. Prior to getting back into the classroom, I was Director of IT for a nationwide healthcare company. Being in a training position has given me time to expand professionally - I've written three books on networking, started a successful technology blog with hundreds of daily visitors, and developed skill sets in analytics and machine learning. During this time I also earned (and then renewed) the CISSP certification, became a MikroTik Certified Trainer, and upgraded my Microsoft MCSA to include Server 2016.
