Major accomplishment: Designed and developed SD-WAN Automation platformI successfully led a DevOps team and orchestrated the creation of a container-based software architecture using Kubernetes. The development process followed agile principles and was fully automated through a CICD pipeline. This software had a pivotal role in our organisation as it efficiently ingested data from SD-WAN network infrastructure and transformed it into a comprehensible data model, accessible through multiple API interfaces for the business framework.Through coaching, guidance and leadership the team became self-sustainable in managing the platform. They maintain the software architecture and its associated systems, ensuring long-term success and reducing dependence on external resources.Moreover, our system was responsible for generating network status events, streamlining and optimising data processing, which led to a remarkable reduction in OPEX by up to 90%.
